Sister, there is no denying that 2020 has been a bit of a roller coaster.
If you feel like some days you go from one set of PJ’s to another, you are certainly not alone!
Although lazy days like these are much needed, you can start to feel a little stir crazy.
We would like to share some quick self-care tips that we have found helpful - even through these uncertain times.
TAKE A FEW DEEP BREATHS
It’s easy to get caught up in the chaos of the world so be sure to take a little bit of time each day to take a few deep breaths.
Slow and deep breathing is one of the best ways to lower stress, and the best part is you can do it anywhere and anytime!
Why not give it a try right now?
Better yet, go outside. Soak up some sunshine and take a few more deep breaths. You can thank us later!
Yes, we know! Sometimes this one seems like a bit of a hassle, but it is so worth it!
Whether you go for a walk, a run, lift some weights or clean the house, your body will thank you by releasing some good old endorphins – great for a little pick me up!
Some of you may fall asleep standing up, others, however, have racing brains that seem to accelerate once your head hits the pillow.
I have found it very useful to put on a podcast to distract my brain, so I fall asleep easily.
Writing a to-do list for the next day is also very helpful. This way you are feeling a little more prepared for the following day.
LAUGHTER IS THE BEST MEDICINE
Whether you connect with a good friend, watch a comedy show/movie or listen to a podcast, there is no denying that laughter truly is the best medicine.
A time out from the stresses of life to just wind down and laugh can boost your mood making you feel rejuvenated and ready to tackle whatever problems you are faced with.
REFLECT AND APPRECIATE
At the end of each day, I sit down and write down one thing I am grateful for that happened that day, and one thing I look forward to for the next day.
Of course, some days this is harder than other but I have found that even on the most challenging of days, there is always something to be grateful for and something to look forward to.
Give it a try!

Last but not least, put on that cute outfit, do your hair, paint your face and top it off with a few gorgeous items of jewellery!
